HIGH TEMPERATURE TAPES

High Quality Tapes Are Available For Your Choice

Kapton Tape

It is made of polyimide film as its base material, which is coated with the silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive on single side. The adhesive tape shows excellent electrical properties and outstanding resistance to high temperature as well as cold endurance.

Green Masking Tapes

Green Masking Tapes are constructed of polyester film with a thickness of 2 Mil, and has a silicone based adhesive with a thickness of 1.5 Mil. The tapes can be removed easily and does not leave any residue. Apart from being economical, these green masking tapes can withstand a maximum temperature of 204°C, or 400°F. Also known as Powder Coating Masking Tapes, these Green Masking Tapes comes in a 3 inch core, and 72 yard roll.

Powder Coating Tapes
Powder coating tapes are constructed of heavy duty polyester with a silicone based adhesive backing which has a thickness of 1.3 mils. The tape peels off easily without leaving any residue behind. The adhesive also allows for the tape to be thermal and chemical resistant, and can easily adhere to surfaces with lower energy.

Mylar Tapes

These are tapes that have a metallized, shiny polyester film on top and comes in a variety of vibrant colors. Mylar Tapes can be used for splicing, cueing, color coding, and even for decorating. These tapes are laminated aluminum foil that have great insulation capabilities. Hence, Mylar tapes are perfect for cable wrapping and shielding. Their various properties allow these tapes to have a number of uses. As soon as Mylar tapes were introduced into the market, it replaced cellophane especially because Mylar sheets are a lot stronger. They can withstand a temperature as high as 179°C (354°F).

PTFE Teflon Fabric Tapes
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) Teflon Fabric Tapes have a silicone adhesive lined on the back and treated with sodium on the other. These tapes are not only resistant to climate and ageing, but also has a temperature endurance from -70°C (-94°F) to 300°C (572°F). The silicone adhesive leaves no trace after removal, hence it is very easy to clean. In addition to having high insulation abilities, the tapes are fire proof, anti-static, anti-UV, nontoxic, and very easy to use.

PTFE Skived Film Tape

PTFE Skived Film Tape is a film of skived polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) lined with a silicone based adhesive backing. The tape is mostly known for having a very low coefficient of friction and hence allows for the tape to create a non-sticky and smooth surface on any material. Since it is chemical resistant, you can also choose to use it as a chemical barrier. Other than that, the tape is perfect to reduce any friction between two surfaces to improve surface movement and reduce squeaks and machine noise. The PTFE Films have a working temperature range of -54°C (-65°F) to 260°C (500°F).

1 Mil Polyimide Films

1 Mil Polyimide Films are flexible and have high resistance to temperature. They provide a high performance, and are usually preferred over polyester. Due to their high endurance in temperature (up to 260°C or 500°F), they are used in a variety of different applications, such as smartcards, smart conductors, and in both general manufacturing and automotive industries.

Glass Cloth Tape

Glass Cloth Tape is constructed of woven fiberglass that has a silicone based adhesive. Not only does this allow for removal without leaving any residue, but the tape is also perfect for high-temperature applications. The Glass Cloth Tape has high thermal endurance and can resist temperature as low as -54°C (-65°F) to as high as 232°C (450°F). It is resistant against flames and abrasion and is perfectly suited for applications that require higher tensile strength.
